The new academic complex, with its unique architectural design, integrates well with the theme of the school. The 45,000 square foot building has six technologically equipped classrooms, four syndicate study rooms, spacious faculty offices and common spaces. Other notable features include conference space, student cafe and lounges.
THE LIBRARY
The school has a well equipped library with focus on Rural Management. The library already has a collection of over 2500 references (textbooks, reference books and reports) covering a wide range of subjects. It subscribes to 360 periodicals, both national and international. The resources include CDs/DVDs, databases viz. EBSCO, EMERALD, Proquest of CMIE and Prowess of Social Sciences Index (SSI).It has a strong interlibrary cooperation programme that provides access to collections of other leading libraries in the country through various library networks. The school is continuing its efforts the last two years to further enrich it and is committed to providing access to the best resources for students, researchers and faculty.

A comprehensive database, containing index and abstracts for more than 9800 international journal abstracts, with full texts of 3000 business related periodicals and back volumes, dating back to year 1886.It is most comprehensive archives available for business journals , where in the reviewed articles are available in PDF prior to 1985 and with full texts in post 1985. The full text journals cover all business areas including Marketing, MIS, POM, Accounting, Finance and Economics. It also contains financial data, books, monographs, major reference works, book digests, conference proceedings, case studies, investment research reports, industry reports, market research reports, country reports, company profiles and many more.
EMERALD MANAGEMENT XTRA
A collection of 42,000 articles from 100 management journals, complete with full text archives , dating back to 1994 and abstracts back to 1989. Emerald journals portfolio represents the world’s largest collection of peer-reviewed management journals. The database covers collections from marketing, human resources, library and information management and operations management.
ABI/INFORM COMPLETE
It is most comprehensive business database of nearly 4,000 journals. It offers nearly 3,000 full-text titles covering business and economic conditions, corporate strategies, management techniques, as well as competitive and product information. Its international coverage gives researchers a complete picture of companies and business trends around the world.

CMIE Available on the institute’s LAN. This provides the services of Prowess, Economic Intelligent Services, Business Beacon, Indian Harvest.
PROWESS (Firm Level Data Base)- It provides firm specific information covering financial statement, ratio analysis, funds flows, product profiles, return-risk of stock markets.
IN - HOUSE JOURNAL
The school is in the process of launching its peer reviewed journal “KIIT Rural Business Review” from the year 2009. The research journal will be a source of innovative ideas and latest information for rural and corporate managers. The journal will attempt to bridge the gap between academia and management practice in the field of rural management.
COMPUTING FACILITIES
All the students are provided with laptops. The University provides all the faculty and students with a sophisticated computing environment and access to a powerful network of resources and applications. The ICT cell of the University provides advanced and state of art networking facilities to the campuses, in a single loop, with wireless internet connectivity.
HOSTEL FACILITIES
The MRM Programme is a fulltime residential programme and all the students are required to stay in the hostel. The state- of-the- art SRM hostels, separate for boys and girls, with all modern facilities are provided to the students . The hostels will have a provision for wireless internet connectivity besides many other amenities like dining hall, recreation room, gymnasium and facilities for indoor games.
STUDENT RELATIONS
Student Affairs in the school are managed by Student Coordination Committee (SCC) duly constituted by the Director, with 11 members consisting of 3 faculty members and 8 student members (at least two girl students) to decide upon issues like hostel discipline, hostel maintenance and related issues.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
KIIT offers a choice of indoor games and outdoor facilities for students of various schools including KSRM.
